FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION COURSE
Purpose
Develop instructional competence for qualified commercial pilots, including teaching technique, standardisation, safety leadership, and right-seat demonstration skills.
Develop instructors who lead with safety, standardisation, and strong technique
Training Outcomes
- Deliver structured briefings, demonstrations, and debriefings
- Apply standardisation and safety oversight in a training environment
- Demonstrate right-seat handling and instructional communication skills
- Coach student performance using objective criteria
Training Content & Hours
- Ground Training : 100 hours
- Flight Training : 25 hours (Cessna C172)
Entry Requirements
- Hold a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with Instrument Rating (IR)
- Hold a valid Aviation Medical Certificate
- English proficiency with the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
Privileges
- Eligible to conduct flight instruction in accordance with regulatory approvals
- Authorised to deliver student pilot training under an approved training organisation (ATO)
- Certification subject to regulatory requirements and successful completion of course and assessments
